Do you give free estimates?

Yes, we provide free estimates. If requested, we will come to your site to ensure that we understand your needs and provide you with the best value.

What materials are available for commercial doors?

While the majority of commercial doors are manufactured from steel, there are a variety of other materials used. We would be glad to advise you regarding the best options for your project.

What style of doors do you handle?

The majority of the doors used in commercial applications are standard commercial flush doors, some that include window combinations. We also offer a variety of sliding “barn” doors and other options. Let us help you by explaining the options and helping you select the best option for your project.

Do you work on Residential Pedestrian Doors?

Yes, we have provided openings for safe rooms, gun rooms, or any opening to protect your home or belongings.

Do you retrofit historic buildings?

Yes – for historical buildings we recommend a site visit to ensure we understand your needs and field measure all openings. During that visit we can recommend hardware and doors that will fulfill the design and functionality goals of your project.

Do you work on Existing Retrofit and New Openings?

Yes we can perform complete tear outs and replacements on existing door openings as well as new construction projects.

How do I paint a steel door?

We can provide that service for you as part of a complete turn-key project or we can provide you with the manufacturers recommended process.

Are special door sizes or shapes available?

Yes – we have the capability to manufacture custom frames and work with a variety of door vendors that can accommodate custom made orders.

What parts do you stock for commercial doors?

We have access to hardware and parts for all products we sell as well as products that we do not normally carry. We carry inventory of the more common products and can order other products as needed.

What brand of hardware do you carry?

We have aligned ourselves with the finest providers of the highest quality products in the industry. We have an extensive collection to make sure we have the options to meet your needs.

What is the lead time?

The lead time will vary by project and product. Please contact us with specifics regarding your project and we will advise you regarding what you can expect. To make your project successful, we will work closely with you to coordinate with your schedule.

Do you accept purchase orders?

Yes – we accept purchase orders and will work with you if we have any questions.

What is the warranty?

The warranty offered on the materials vary by manufacturer. We pass through the manufacturer’s warranty to our customers. At Mid Central Door we warranty our installation and workmanship for a period of one year from sale.

Do you do Locksmithing Services?

Yes, we do internal locksmithing of our products but also partner with client locksmiths to best fit the client needs

Do you install doors and hardware?

Yes – we have a team of trained technicians and subcontractors that we work with that can provide a complete solution for your project.

What is the benefit of having a professional installer?

You have the benefit of knowing that a professional trained in the proper methods of installation has completed your project to the highest industry standards.

How qualified and trained are your technicians?

We are certified in industry standards for installation and have extensive experience. Our techs specialize in working with commercial door applications and strive to exceed your expectations.

How is your product different from something off the shelf from a local large big box type store?

Our products are all commercial grade products that meet the highest standards in design and quality. These products are commonly used in heavy commercial applications like schools and healthcare facilities where adherence to code and security specifications is critical. The commercial standard is very different from the products used in residential applications.

Do you do any code compliant certified inspections?

Yes, we perform industry F.D.A.I. certified fire door inspections with an in depth report based on inspection and facility current code plan. Based on the inspection we can provide you the options of products and services to correct any issues that were discovered. We can also offer potential upgrades if that is appropriate. Our goal is to make sure you are compliant with the codes required and we will work with you to best serve your needs. You are never locked into an agreement that is not in your best interest. Our contract does not carry any “fine print” locking you into long term commitments with our firm.

Do you provide A.D.A. automatic door operators?

Yes we provide and service multiple brands to meet your code or convenience needs.

Do you provide access control?

Yes we provide the full range of options from a basic cost effective solution to high end fully automated solutions.

Do you provide preventative maintenance?

Yes, we have a variety of plans available and will work with you to find the one that best suits your needs. We also offer programs to help you create standards for products used in your facilities to ensure consistency and the best value.

Do you accept credit cards?
